This article is about how personalities help make a team more efficient or how personalities can be the downfall of a group. The article goes into detail on how personalities of teammates can cause a team to be very ineffective. To help stop teams from being ineffective people in IS development started using the joint application design (JAD). JAD is a kind of representative design, this involves user representatives in the decisions to formulate an IS. The ideal team for the use of JAD is having a group of members that are all diverse in knowledge and talents.

This article tells the reader how to edit their film and what techniques can be used to help make the editing process easier. The article goes into detail about the editing process and how editing a film has stages, similar to writing a college term paper. The article talks about the different stages in the editing process and what goes into it to make it happen. Also talks about editing techniques and principles that help you edit better. Talks about the B-roll technique and the 180-degree technique. The article also gives examples of movies and their specific edits that make them good or bad.

Throughout the article we learn about many different types of movie tropes, for example the undead movie trope where the person that has just been shot or killed comes back to life. The article explains that using movie tropes can make a film look as if the director cut corners and needs to rely on overused movie tropes. The article explains that movie tropes can be used beneficially, for example using a movie trope in a comedy movie, might get some laughs out of it. The article goes into detail about these movie tropes and even gives some examples of movies that are relate to some of the movie tropes.

Dialogue

  Dialogue Today I worked on the dialogue with my actors so they will have a better feel of what to say and how to sound natural. I told them that in some clips they can just tell a story of something that may have happened in their life recently. I believe using a story that may have actually happened will sound and feel like they are actual people living their lives. We picked out a few stories that may be good, for example, a story about one of the actor’s actual jobs and how he feels like he may have gotten fired. Another story is of a friend of one of the actor’s brothers and how she helped him clean up some urine off the floor after a party. I also told the actors that they can curse, told them this because I want the dialogue to feel as natural as possible and teenagers curse all the time. Post Production 1

  Post Production 1             The first  thing I started off with changing was the running scene I had; in this scene, I ran at the actors as they were walking away. My original intention was to add suspense to make it look like they were about to be killed but then it cuts to them talking in the car. As one of my peers pointed out this scene felt out of place so I decided to cut the scene from my movie entirely. The next thing I worked on was making the title to the movie bigger than my name at the end. Of course, this was very easy to do all I had to do was click on the title and stretch it out, as well as making my name smaller. The next thing I did was add the actor’s names during the first scene. It starts off with Dylan in the car and as soon as the scene starts his name fades in, then once Nick enters the car his name fades out and Nick’s name fades in. Filming

  Filming             Today I began filming my movie, I should be able to film all my scenes in two hours. What will take us the longest is the driving we will have to do throughout the day but there are some scenes that are filmed inside the car so that works out best for us. We had to redo the first scene because one of the actors turned on music that is copyrighted and I can not put in the film but other than that the first scene went off without a hitch. After that first scene, I secretly filmed some scenes of the two actors just casually talking to each other. I think I might be able to put a few of those conversations in the film. There were more people at Celery Fields that I would have liked but no one bothered us while we filmed so the people were not an issue like I thought they might be.
